My Story

Hello, my name is Kristin and I've been knitting since my mother first taught me over 12 years ago. She taught me the basics and I ran with it. Teaching myself everything I know now and continuing to push myself with new projects and ideas. I hand knit each item using some finished patterns that I have found and even creating new ones all the time. Each item from the small Lavender Hearts to the more extravagant sweaters are done by hand. Taking time to match pattern, to yarn, to color so the finish product is a work of art.  

The name Lunacy comes from a gamer tag my brother and sister gave me when I was little. We always played video games on the PC and I need a name so they gave me Lunacy. When it came time to naming my business it was a no brainer what I would call it. My family has supported me my whole life. My father helps me organize it all, my mom comes with me to all my markets. My sister helps me with matching colors and patterns and my brother encourages me. They all push me to go further and try harder. I honor them in all that I create. The Cup coasters are in sets of 5 to honor my family of 5.
